6 Months!

I turned six months old on Saturday, October 16th. Mommy and Daddy can't believe how quickly half a year has gone by! I love to "talk," make razzie sounds, and giggle when see Avery making funny faces. I can't sit on my own just yet, but I play on my tummy all the time, moving my legs to get me ready to rock 'n crawl before too long!

Activity Center

Just a little dose of life around Casa Portu-Giese. Isla loves playing on her tummy, and I think she keeps a keen eye out for when I might do something silly.

Isla is starting to eat baby cereal, but she's not exactly a pro. Right now, we're just trying to get some food actually in her belly, instead of on her face!

That's OK, though...she has a good time making a mess!

There's definitely no shortage of baby gadgets around the house, and sometimes, I can't resist checking them out for myself...

...But, most of the time, I'm happy to share sweetness with my baby sister

Guess What?

Halloween is RIGHT around the corner!

We can't wait!

Pecking Order

One Silly Big Sister...As for me, the shirt says it all.

She IS generous with her smooches, though, so I love her.

It'll take me awhile to figure out the rest of her.

Ham Hocks - gotta love 'em. ~ Isla

Not just yet...

We attempted cereal again today....

We weren't exactly successful.

The spoon sure is fun to gum, though. ~ Isla

My three years' experience tells me that the messier the face, the better the food! ~ Avery

A few things I know...

I have two feet!

I love my Daddy (see outfit)

...And, I'm darn close to rolling over

~Isla

Game Time!

We're all set for the start of Longhorn Football. Hook'em Horns!
